I work with social sector focusing on Environment and livelihood issues concerning poor and marginalized in the society. I am in the field of development for the past 22 years. My work involves around issues concerning the masses that are deprived of their rights and excluded from the development race.

Entitlement, Environment and Empowerment are the key areas of my priority to focus upon. Born and brought up in Delhi, I completed my Graduation in the Commerce stream from Panjab University Chandigarh in 1986. Prior to that, I did my schooling from Delhi and Faridabad.

Later on while in job, completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management in 1995 from Indian Institute of Rural Management (IIRM), Jaipur. Presently, I am perusing my M.Sc. in Disaster Management from Global Open University, Nagaland. After graduation I did some short term assignments here and there and finally joined the voluntary sector in January 1987.
